New Topic Overview
We have added NEW TOPICS and brand NEW CONTENT into the agenda that reflect the changes that have occurred in the market place since the first Bootcamp’s in 2006, a lot has changed in a very short period of time, our brand new topics include:
- Social Media Marketing - A guide to all the wonders that Web 2.0, including an overview on social networks, blogging, tagging, book marking & RSS feeds.

- The Jargon of Search Marketing - Search marketers come up with more jargon than any other online industry that i can think of, this sessions busts through all of that so you can understand what your search vendors or search team are talking about.
- Universal Search - Documents the impact this new way of displaying the search results can have on your rankings and looks at the areas that you need to improve on to capitalise.
- Online Reputation Management - A sessions that deals with the growing use of blogs, youtube and other user generated content, online rep management is a combination of SEO skill and online PR, this session will give you helpful advise on how to monitor and protect your online reputation.
- Getting Maximum Value from Paid Search - Quality score is one of the major factors effecting the CPC’s of many campaigns today, introduced by Google and shortly by Yahoo! Search Marketing, we take the time to explain what it is and what you can do to maximise your quality score.
- Meet the Engines - Is a session designed for those that have never had a chance to met or hear from either Google or Yahoo! Search Marketing, this session will also include a brief overview of the new ad management system recently launched by Yahoo! Search Marketing.
New Content Overview
Some topics just have to be included for a search seminar - Keywords, Copy, Creative & Landing Pages. So, I decided a maker over on these topics was needed, this included a change to the presentation style and an overhaul of the content to reflect our audience.
The topics that received a makeover were:
- Keyword Research - Our new content looks at keyword research from a statistical point of view, we now also include a one month free trial with Keyword Discovery for your keyword research as part of you registration cost.
- Copy Writing and Duplicate Content Issues - Now covers off on how to write good copy for your website and also how to deal with content duplication, which can dramatically effect your rankings and traffic.
- Creative Management - This PPC based session is the first in a series of three topics that will help you harness the power of quality score.
- Landing Page Optimisation - The new content for this session revolves around landing page optimisation from a few angles, includes information about multivariate testing and how this can also help your quality score.
